Found this 1974 Honda CB 750 Cafe Racer on eBay. I’m not completely sold on the look (mainly the headlight I think) but it’s an interesting blend of Bobber and Cafe Racer styling. With a couple of aesthetic tweaks this bike could really be something special…
Sellers description:
“This beauty features Clip on handle bars, a Dunstall Gas tank, a custom fabricated seat pan professionally upholstered by Rudy’s custom stitching from Orange , California. Upholstery was finished in a classic “Diamond Tuck”. It has fully polished front forks and rear hubs. The rims are 18 inchers in the rear and 19 inchers up front. They were powdered coated gloss black and have gold pinstriping. New Stainless steel spokes were added at both front and rear. This adds a traditional look that goes so well with this custom bike. The paint on this is absolutely stunning! It was professionally applied by Aggressive custom paint works out of Anaheim , California. The steps at which this took to create the effects took a lot of painstaking hours to accomplish. It has a gold/copper base coat and metalflake with Peagan gold and orange “House of Color” candy. Everything is outlined with black candy fogging panels. All lettering and numbers were done in gold leafing. If any of you have watched these custom motorcycle programs on TV that are so popular today you will know that applying gold leaf is a dying skill that not too many know how to properly apply. many coats of clear in between and on top of the custom colors nicely cover everything and make it smooth as silk to the touch.”
