Layering is a great way to insulate yourself against the cold, but adding too much bulk can be impractical. The Cortech Marquee jacket blends the functionality of a leather motorcycle jacket and the streetwear style of a hooded sweater without compromising comfort. The jacket’s outer layer is constructed from drum dyed, pebbled 1 – 1.2mm bovine leather that’s oil conditioned to last. Adding to the Marquee’s retro aesthetic are padded tuck-n-roll panels on the shoulders, lower back and elbows and burnished silver fasteners by YKK.
The Marquee jackets faux hoodie adds style and practicality without the bulk of a full sweater. The 100% cotton hoodie consists of a front panel and hood that can be removed using zippers in the jacket’s liner. To keep you protected from the cold Cortech has integrated a space-saving 80g thermal liner into the Marquee jacket’s design. Five internal pockets including a dual snap carry pouch offer plenty of storage space. The two external pockets are thermal lined to help thaw your frosty digits once you’re off the bike.
To extend the Marquee jackets use into warmer seasons the thermal lining is also completely removable. Two 14 inch zippered intake vents on the front and 2 more 11.5 inch exhaust vents at the rear provide excellent flow-through ventilation. When it comes to safety Cortech has backed the bovine leather’s abrasion resistance with SAS-TEC CE level 2 elbow and shoulder armour. The Marquee also features an internal rear pocket to install optional back armour.
