If you’re a fan of Moc toe boots but want footwear that’ll keep your paws properly protected then consider these XPD X-Village motorcycle boots. The XPD brand was developed in 2000 by riding gear experts Spidi and their footwear can be seen on riders in the Moto GP and World Superbike series. These urban-focused X-Village boots benefit from Spidi’s learnings at the race track and will perform right both on and off the bike.
The Spidi X-Village boots come in either black or brown 1.4mm water-resistant oiled leather. The contrasting white sole is formed from vulcanized rubber offering both longevity and reliable grip out on the road. Although the X-Village boots feature laces fitting them can be done quickly via YKK zippers on the inner ankle of each foot. The boots sole also features a ‘cut’ design for increased walking flexibility. Ribbed 0.8mm panels above each heel and padded collars further improve comfort while you’re on foot.
The stylish X-Village boots are clearly designed for urban applications, but Spidi hasn’t overlooked safety. They’ve integrated both heel and toe reinforced cups into the construction of the boots. Polyurethane protectors cover each ankle and feature additional shock absorption material to soften hard knocks. So although you’ll probably be buying a pair of X-Village motorcycle boots as a styling choice you can rest assured your feet will be prepared for whatever you encounter out on the road.
