New for 2020 the RSD Tech Denim Collection follows suit. Constructed from an abrasion-resistant denim blend and styled to be everyday wearable the collection includes 3 all-new items of riding gear.
The Roland Sands Technical Denim collection was created specifically for motorcyclists. Using a blend of traditional denim and Cordura the fabric offers superior abrasion resistance to regular denim. To withstand the rigours of motorcycle riding (and crashing) additional reinforcement has then been added to high impact zones using extra-tough aramid fibres.
Finished in a traditional dark indigo with classic contrasting orange stitching the Tech Denim range is just as much at home on the bike as it is at a bar with buddies. Included in the new 2020 collection is the RSD Tech Denim vest, jeans and jacket.

RSD Technical Denim Vest
This classic denim vest takes a timeless design and injects it with modern safety tech. Through the use of a special blend of materials (42% Cotton, 23% Cordura, 23% Polyester, 12% Modal) it boasts improved protection over standard denim vests with the added peace of mind from additional aramid fibres. For basic protection from the elements, the RSD Tech Denim Vest has been finished with a water-resistant wax coating. The vests mesh internal liner helps to dissipate heat and wick moisture and can accept optional back armour. A snap-down collar holds everything in place while a collection of both zippered and buttoned pockets allow you to safely stash your valuables.
RSD Technical Denim Jeans
Protective riding jeans are a must-have for every motorcyclist. The RSD Tech Denim Jeans feature a timeless slim straight cut for everyday wearability on and off the bike. RSD has incorporated 2-way stretch into all of the items in their tech denim range for improved riding comfort. A 15-inch leg opening leaves plenty of room for larger calves and the jeans secure with a sturdy YKK zip fly. The jeans also utilise a traditional classic 5 pocket design just like your flimsy Levi’s.
For added peace of mind, the RSD Tech Denim Jeans come equipped with removable CE-1 Knock Microlock Knee Armour.
RSD Technical Denim Jacket
Every rider should own a denim jacket, especially one that looks this good.
The RSD Tech Denim Jacket is another classic cut that’s been upgraded using abrasion-resistant materials. The waxed Trucker style jacket is the perfect warm-weather riding companion. Pre-curved rotated sleeves, a lower back panel, built-in 2-way stretch and a relaxed collar ensure optimum comfort in a riding stance. Best of all these design elements are subtle enough to have the jacket pass for a standard item of streetwear so it’s a great option when you’re heading out on the town.
Similar to the vest the Tech Denim Jacket features a mesh liner, button-down collar, YKK zippers throughout and Aramid reinforced protection. Additionally, the Tech Denim Jacket comes with CE-1 Knock Microlock elbow and shoulder armour and has room for optional back armour.
