This 1975 BMW R75/6 underwent a three-year transformation into a cafe racer. The bike is finished in metallic silver with a black cafe-style tail section, brown bump seat, center stand, rear-set foot controls, axle-mounted license-plate bracket, and aftermarket lighting. It rides on wire-spoke alloy wheels (19″ front, 18″ rear) with Metzler Lasertec tires, supported by a leading-axle fork and dual Hagon shocks. Braking is handled by a single front disc and rear drum.
Clip-on handlebars feature brown grips and a left-side bar-end mirror, and they frame the adjustment knob for a friction steering damper as well as a Motogadget 8k-rpm analog tachometer with an inset digital display with speed and trip computer readouts.
The 745cc opposed twin engine, with electric start and dual Bing carburetors, delivers 50 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque. Power goes to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a driveshaft enclosed in the right swingarm leg. A chrome dual exhaust system with a crossover tube completes the setup.
