In 2016, C&J Motorrad of Victoria, Minnesota, transformed this 1983 BMW R80ST into a scrambler masterpiece. The modification involved adjusting the frame near the steering head to accommodate the 1990 BMW R100RT fuel tank. This tank, adorned in metallic silver with silver pinstripes and internally coated for corrosion resistance, adds a distinctive touch.
Further enhancements include the customization of the stock subframe for a diamond-stitched brat-style seat, as well as the crafting of alloy fender blanks. The bike boasts a silver R100RT fuel tank, alloy fenders, a Cone Engineering muffler, a Daytona speedometer, Sonic fork springs featuring Race Tech emulators, YSS shocks, and a Flying Pot R80GS side stand.
Propelled by an air-cooled 798cc opposed twin engine mated to a five-speed transmission and shaft drive, this motorcycle showcases a harmonious blend of vintage aesthetics and modern modifications.
