Sweatpants Media have released a video of the Technics Harley Sportster Cafe Racer I featured a few weeks back. Built as a promo for Panasonic by Roland Sands the bike received mixed reviews as most “promo” bikes do. Now though we have a chance to see the bike in action which could have some people feeling differently about it. The music from the video was created using 100+ sounds recorded in the RSD workshop during the build of the bike and was designed to showcase the power of the Technics headphones. So if you’ve got a pair of Technics DH1-1200 Headphones whack them on and hit the play button, if not I’m sure your computers speakers can do an alright job…
“Motorcycle designer, Roland Sands, and Nitro Circus madman, Andy Bell, join forces on a Panasonic Technics inspired Harley Sportster. Roland Sands took cues from the RP-DH1250 Headphones as well as the classic SL-1200MK2 professional turntables for the design. When the Technics sporty is done, Andy Bell takes it to the desert to push it to the limits!”
