Vintage Steele of Brattleboro, Vermont, transformed this 1975 Yamaha XS650 into a café-racer. The bodywork, featuring the original four-gallon fuel tank and meticulously handcrafted fenders, underwent a sleek transformation with black semigloss paint adorned with silver accents and graphics at Washburn’s Auto Body in Williston, Vermont.
Modifications include a custom low-profile bench-style seat in rich brown leather, complemented by an LED taillight and a side stand. Powering the bike is a 653cc SOHC parallel twin engine paired with a five-speed transmission.
Noteworthy additions include a Suzuki GSX–series front fork, a single-carburetor conversion, an advanced electronic ignition and charging system, a custom two-into-one up-pipe exhaust, a GPS speedometer, short-stalk turn signals, and an additional LED taillight.
