David Zemla transformed this 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster into a scrambler for Burly Brand, featured prominently in advertisements and event displays. The modifications include a distinctive white 4.5-gallon fuel tank adorned with red pinstripes, bespoke fenders, RideWright wheels sporting Heidenau enduro tires, an altered rear frame section, a detachable luggage rack, a brat-style seat, and Burly Brand shocks.
Power comes from an air-cooled V-twin that received a 1,200cc big-bore kit and an air cleaner from S&S Cycle. The exhaust system was upgraded to a two-into-one configuration, complete with a carbon fiber muffler tip courtesy of Roland Sands Design. The power generated is channeled to the rear wheel through a five-speed unit transmission and a drive chain conversion featuring a tensioner wheel from Zipper’s Performance Products.
