After more than a decade of being off our shelves, Bell Helmets are making their Australian come back! Rumour has it that they are due to start appearing in stores as of November this year but don’t go select your favourite just yet, it looks as though Australians won’t be getting access to the full Bell helmet range. Strict and somewhat absurd limitations in the Australian Standard safety laws have kept Bell away from our shores for years, even though the helmets are renowned in global racing for their superior performance and construction. I’m particularly excited about this news because I have had my eye on a Bell Matte Carbon Star ever since reading the review on the Tarantulas website. Fingers crossed it’s one of the helmets in Bell’s range that has made the cut!
