The Spidi Premium jacket is constructed from leather sourced from their main supplier in Italy’s Chiampo Valley. Arguably the home of Italy’s leather production, they’ve been tanning leather here for over 600 years. The jackets outer shell is made up of 1.1mm to 1.3mm supple full-grain cowhide. Spidi has applied this to their Premium Jacket using large unbroken panels of leather; creating a timeless look ideal for riders of modern classics and cruisers.
The fit of the Spidi Premium Jacket is tapered for smart looks and features accordion panels on each side that run from shoulder to waist. The panels offer a form-hugging fit for all body shapes and increased comfort no matter what riding position you’re in. Spidi categorises the Premium Jacket as a multi-seasonal riding jacket. For cooler winter months the Premium Jacket includes a removable 100gr/sqm thermal liner. When temperatures rise the liner can be removed and zippered vents on the chest and sleeves opened to let the breeze in.
Storage on the Spidi Premium Jacket is limited to 2 zippered pockets on the waist and one internal pocket for valuables. A hypoallergenic cotton liner helps to keep things fresh.
When it comes to safety the Premium Jacket boasts CE prEN 17092-2:2017 Class AA certification. This is achieved thanks to Spidi’s choice of leather and the addition of both elbow and shoulder armour in the purchase price.
